The Monster of Trans-Siberia

Image

A humiliation I can’t describe. That monster that can hide inside the carelessness of those we cherish most. A trans-Siberian railway roaring with emotion never stops. In nature bound to locomotive paths of steel. Tearing at the tracks below its feet, stacks of metal longing to be scratched. Mine is a life of stations in the distance seen. Stations fleeting bidding their farewells ahead of time. Stations bleeding with contempt of what they are. Stations whistling signaling the advent of a purge. And as the passengers stand their turn, a trans-Siberian monster preps it’s appetite. Feeding off mementos of a clueless throng. Feeding off their love and hope and dignity. Feeding off their memories so that we can live in peace. And prosper on what they have to leave behind. Before our train arrives.

Let There be Winter in the Land of Apartheid

Let the Winter Come poem

Let the winter come
Let the storms hit bay
Let there be no innocence
In the month of may
Let the bleeding cry
And the darkness reign
Let the cold take every heart
A thousand years of pain
Let the fields go bare
Let the hungry die
Let there be no stars above
To guide a moonless sky
Let the music play
And the artists paint
Let there be a time for us
To cherish every saint
Let the singers sing
And the writers write
Let them make a meaning of
These tragedies in sight
And why were those words ever said
Let there be a light
What good has light brought to this world
When all we’ve done is fight

When Adam Blogged the Taste of Mortal Sin

would_you_like_to_be_immortal__by_STLUKA

Sun melts sky
Burning curtains
All that’s left
Are sprinkled stars
Across a day
Called night

Twinkling truths
Sexless constants
There is no black or white
In light
There is no darkness
There is no bright

My home this world
And all it’s living things my life
Your face is all I see
Your eyes a gateway
To a better world
A better self

I learn to lose that self
And join this greater good
I smile and laugh and cry
And hurt and live
Until my every moment
Is an act of love

And like a sunset there
Lifts a dawn
In some place else
I want my soul
To lift this world
Towards the sky

So that we melt togehter
Into that burning truth
And join the stars
Making concious love
Freed from tasteless
Immortality

The Reckless Driver: Brain Freezes on Route Sixty-Four

Ripped away
From gutters of yesterday
Bleeding with anguish
Swaying around
In puddles of desolation
Ripping through our guts
Spraying our insides
Across the windshield
Jubilating at the sight
Of darkness tearing through us all
Pieces flying all around the sky
Freeing us from being in one place
Speed is the world
On ecstasy ravaging
Towards an unknown turn
Blinking fog lights
Broken signals
Navigating through our passion
A tale of dying everyday
And when our corpses rupture
Holding hands
All that befalls
Is a tiny simple snowfall
Trying to cover up
All the wrongs of this world
Trying to hide
From the eyes of the newborn
The shame of existence
The sham of persevering in a world
Where all we have is lost around a corner
Seeping blood crawls like snow cones
To the surface painted red
An icy carpet made of strawberry slurpee
We take it all in
Without a second thought
Brain freezes on Route Sixty-four
Jittery hands, coy touches
In a magic carriage ride
Making love at 120
Climaxing at 150
Why live at any slower pace?

The Deaf Girl: An Eternal Sign Language

To you whose words I long to hear
To you beyond the distant meadow fields
To you I pledge to keep my life
For dying means a silence I can’t bear
Scraping through my eardrums in my sleep
Until my whole entirety has been emptied
From holes inside my head
I lose myself
A deafness I have never known

Beyond the noise of your demise
Your words so sweet
Still tear the walls of solitude
And build instead a humble home
Where love can dwell and multiply
To you whom time has stolen years
The final gift I can bequeath
Is my bouquet of years to live
With all the joy of silent memory
Each day just like a silent film
And you’re the star of every episode

To you whose words I long to hear
I hear you in moonlit sky
In children’s smiles throughout the day
In blueberry muffins and ham & cheese
In brewing coffee cups and setting suns
In every corner of my life
You still are there with all your signs
Teaching me the language of our love

The Suicide Victim: Story of my Parting

Bland, the world is hovering in between
A sense of limbo and some lethargy
And as I breathe it hurts to think
Of all the friends I’ve left behind
A love that never came to age
And all the things I could’ve done
Shards of glass prickling in my mind
Poking my convictions and beliefs
Bleeding all my life from memory
Until the blood, up to my knees
Crawls back into the cuts along my wrists
Toiling through my wretched corpse
Mixing in my flesh until I’m ruled
By pain and grief
An aching feeling I cannot escape
Unless I choose to cut myself again
Hoping that some random flowerbed
Between my feet
So cold and callous from the days
Would mix into this dark-red pond
Some sense of love, belonging and direction
And as I bleed my wrongs away
So soggy from the melting of my mind
I choose to drown in my own blood
And leave this world behind

The Soldier: Pimping Wars and Media Whores

Splinters of ash
Washed upon my shores
I play with castles
My fingers bleed
Up until it rains
A little child, he smiles
Just for a while
The sound of rockets
A nation bleeding from its ears
The whole world’s perched
Atop this distant hill
Six billion eyes all on one hill
Six billion tongues, six billion minds
And yet we’re so alone

We rush to make a change
To kill, to steal a life from someone else
The bullets seep into our flesh
A million rounds, a million aching wounds
They hurt so much
They leave a mark forevermore
We make the headlines
A bunch of media whores
Fucked over then forgotten by the war

Tomorrow morning the sun will never rise
Our world will seep into a deep surrender
The printing press will fabricate some lies,
We’ve won the war they say,
And yet this hill has lost so many lives
A million bodies stacked from head to toe
A living sculpture of our own demise

They sent us here,
They cheered us as we fought
And now they’ve turned their eyes away
Some look upon a burka in disgust
But they themselves are veiled
Behind a thicker curtain
A sheath of fiber optics, media bites
A stage, a prompter, cameras and lights
Objectifying wars with gory lust
And counterfeiting peace to suit their needs
They are no different
Sending us to fight
Against the very horrors they incite!

The Convict: Cancer Cells

Thank you
Thank you for everything you have given me
A life with many blessings
The fruit of your hard work
You travelled the world in search of success
And the world failed you
You gave back with all your heart
And people failed you
You were faithful to a cause
And that cause failed you
Even me your son
I’ve failed you
I’ve failed to show you how I feel
To show you the love that you deserve
I’ve failed to get to know you better
I’ve failed you in so many ways

And now they tell me
You may have to go
I understand
But I’m not ready
Even with news like this
I’m helpless and unable
To use what little time I have
So much, there is, that’s to be done
And so much to make up for
That trying seems a useless task
Even your dying fails you

I want to dip my heart in fruit
My mind in sweetened butter
I want to melt into a jam
And spread myself
Across the timeline of our lives
I want to stick
And be a part of every memory

So many wars you’ve fought
And now’s the time to fight again
In life or death we all can find a win
It just depends on what we’re looking for
What makes me sad is that I know
You always looked beyond yourself
And made us more of what we are today
So if you pass, a piece of us will disappear
Forgive me dad
I love you
But you’re alone

Eternal Orgasm – A night in the mind of the Gravedigger

Your eyes are gazing
Straight ahead
You cannot see me
As I watch
I wonder what you’re thinking of
I wonder how you feel
And as I sip your fruity wine
I drift into a foggy haze
The sun is peaking through the window sill
The morning cold, but here inside
Our warmth is endless
A fireplace to dry our soaking souls
I reach towards your shining self
I take a piece of life to break my fast
The sun is seeping in some more
As we lay here without a single word
What’s to be said when feelings are complete?
Where should we go when we have been so far?
And as the sun sets the room gets dark
We clutch together naked and alone
We hear the rain pour on the meadow
We hear the gates slam, we light some candles
We melt into each other
We melt into the moment
One with it all
The rain, the sun, the light the dark
The passing time
Is no constraint
To our connection
As long as I can keep
The flowers fresh
The stone on top will never be
That of a tomb
But rather a foundation
For our endless love
Let’s rest in peace
Here and now
That’s what this place is for
A sanctuary of eternal truth
A field where love is planted
And as the days go by
I watch you grow
So gracefully
And I rejoice
