Sidewalk cliffs
Beauty bounded
But smiling still
Her fingers wrap around
A cigarette
Her phone pulled out
From skinny jeans
Pockets ripped
I can see her skin
She takes a call
And walks on still
She looks both ways
And falls away
Forever

Poem 103
Oh, I love this one! :]
Hi, I just wrote a poem and titled it ‘Crosswalks’ and went searching for one and discovered yours – having no idea I would encounter a poem with the same title. I hope you don’t mind my using it in my blog. Lovely poem as well! :)
I’m glad to hear we were on the same wave length! I’m sure your poem is great. Will check it out now!
